Welcome to Libby's Library Loft!

Hello, my name is Libby, I'm a lifelong reader, lover of all things books, and a public librarian. I'm here to offer some brief book reviews, recommendations, readalikes and more. I'm an avid library user which means I normally check out a book from the library, read it, then decide if I want to add the book to my personal collection. As a librarian, I am the selector for all of Teen Fiction and Adult + Teen Graphic Novels.

 

Fun Fact

I check out all formats of a book at once, physical copy, ebook, and eaudio. I'm a bit of a format hoarder that way, but I like to toggle between all the formats depending on my mood. Often, I listen to the audiobook while I follow along on the page.

 

My favorite genres + sub genres

Epic Fantasy, Dark Academia, Psychological Thrillers, Suspense, Dark Thrillers, Horror, odd/strange horror and fiction. I also enjoy the popular Romantasy genre (with more fantasy than romance). I dabble into some nonfiction as well, though mostly memoirs or odd information.

 

Shop

I am the creator of all the bookish items in my shop! I am most proud of my Reading Journal, which I worked diligently to create. I added what I thought was most important to me as a reader and what I thought others would like in a reading journal as well. The physical journal is slightly different than the digital reading journal but both hold the same purpose, a place for readers to review their favorite reads (or not favorite reads) and express their thoughts.
